La obra de Rubén Alpízar, además de ser leída desde la perspicacia y la singular mofa de cada pieza, es disfrutable aún más cuando el creador asume el propio espacio contenedor como hipervínculo perfecto de su poética. De eso se trata La habitación del simulacro, de cómo ese artista, de espíritu burlón y alma (in)quieta –como dijera Antonio Machado–, induce polémica y debates sobre los contextos artísticos y extra-artísticos mediante las lógicas de la simulación del mundo actual o lo que Baudrillard llama “museografía de la realidad”. Rubén Alpízar's work, in addition to being read from the insight and singular mockery of each piece, is even more enjoyable when the creator assumes the container space itself as the perfect hyperlink of his poetics. That's what The simulacro's room is about, how that artist, with a mocking spirit and a still (in) still spirit, as Antonio Machado said, induces controversy and debates about artistic and extra-artistic contexts through the logic of world simulation current or what Baudrillard calls "museology of reality."
