Objetos de la re-existencia

En el arte cubano sobran los ejemplos de artistas con obras cuestionadoras de nuestro pasado y presente, desde una re-interpretación, re-presentación e hibridez intertextual de las narraciones del contexto. En esta muestra se presentan disímiles objetos cómplices de esas narraciones que han estriado nuestro flujo de pensamiento hacia razonamientos unilaterales. Pero sobre ellos los jóvenes artistas Iván Perera y Marlon Portales han re-escrito pensamientos aparentemente cotidianos e inocuos, sin cambios demasiado notables en su habitual estado, sin embargo cohabitan referencias a documentos históricos, epistemes sobre el poder eclesiástico, político y simbólico, discursos pronunciados por nuestros líderes culturales, fechas clímax, reflexiones del cine de Titón y otras que permiten desmaterializar el objeto de su coraza y hacer posible su re-existencia. Objects of re-existence

In Cuban art, there are plenty of examples of artists with questioning works of our past and present, from a re-interpretation, re-presentation and intertextual hybridization of the narratives of the context. In this sample, there are dissimilar objects complicit in these narratives that have striated our flow of thought towards unilateral reasoning. But about them, the young artists Iván Perera and Marlon Portales have rewritten seemingly every day and innocuous thoughts, without too noticeable changes in their usual state, however, references to historical documents coexist, epistemes about ecclesiastical, political and symbolic power, pronounced speeches for our cultural leaders, climax dates, reflections of the cinema of Titón and others that allow dematerializing the object of its shell and making its re-existence possible.
